Dr. Gretchen’s Newsletter: Celebrating Autism Awareness Month and Self-Care Retreat Announcement!

As April comes to a close, we want to take a moment to honor Autism Awareness Month and reflect on the importance of understanding and acceptance. This month, we've focused on raising awareness about autism spectrum disorder and the significance of seeking diagnosis and support. Remember, getting assessed is the first step toward understanding yourself or a loved one better. Dr. Gretchen offers assessments and can guide you through the process with compassion and expertise.

Planning for Self-Care

Please note that Dr. Gretchen will be out of the country from April 15th until the 29th, attending a retreat for her own self-care on the Island of Malta. During her absence, we encourage you to reflect on your own self-care practices and prioritize your well-being. 


Faith’s hours from April 15 to 26 will be 8 am to 12 pm. Please call between those hours.


Looking Ahead:

Spring is here, and it's a time of renewal and growth. With longer days and warmer weather, we encourage you to step outside, soak in the sunlight, and embrace the beauty of nature. Take a moment to smell the flowers and feel the energy of new beginnings all around you.

Yoga for Healing:

We're excited to announce a special Yin Yoga Series for Healing starting on May 7th. Join us for seven rejuvenating classes designed to heal your body, mind, and spirit. Whether you're recovering from a broken heart, an injury, or managing a health condition, these classes offer a sanctuary for healing and growth. Group yoga sessions are priced at $140 for 7 classes, with an early bird offer of $130 available until April 20th.


Outdoor Group Yoga Sessions:

More exciting news: Once the weather gets better, our group yoga classes will be held outside, weather permitting, of course, under a beautiful tree. Imagine practicing yin yoga surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature—it's an experience you won't want to miss!


Individual Yoga Sessions with Dr. Gretchen:

Additionally, Dr. Gretchen is offering individual yoga sessions, both virtually and in person. These personalized sessions cater to your specific needs and goals, providing you with tailored support on your wellness journey.


But that's not all—stay tuned for more details in next month’s newsletter for our upcoming one-day self-care retreat in June! This retreat will be a day dedicated to pampering yourself and cultivating inner strength and knowledge. 


As we wrap up this month's edition, I challenge you to get to know a neurodivergent coworker better. Embrace their differences and treat them with the respect and understanding they deserve.
