Welcome to the October Newsletter!

Shades of brown

Fall is upon us and it’s time to talk about what Dr. Gretchen is up to. In this October newsletter edition, she delves into the world of neurodiversity and explains how her coaching and therapy practices continue to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals who embrace their unique neurological profiles.

1. Exploring Neurodiversity: A Holistic Approach in Therapy

Dr. Gretchen firmly believes that neurodiversity is a natural variation of the human experience. Therefore, everyone should have a fair chance in school, at work, and in life. Dr. Gretchen has been busy educating the public through her blogs and social media posts about neurodiversity and how it impacts every aspect of life. Also, she has been writing reports and accommodation letters for people professionally and academically. For more information on topics of ADHD check out my blog at gretchen@healthierlifecoaching.

2. Spotlight on New Services: Tailored Coaching for Neurodiverse Individuals

Dr. Gretchen offers a wide range of specialized services designed to support neurodiverse individuals as well as companies, businesses, and executives. These services include:

  • Neurodiverse-Inclusive Consulting

  • Neurodiverse Coaching

  • Neurodiversity Advocacy

3. Books covering important neurodiverse topics.

In this edition, I feature a book on neurodiversity by Temple Grandin called “Visual Thinking.”

  • Temple is a neurodivergent author who describes the hidden gifts of people who think in pictures, patterns, and abstractions. She describes how the world increasingly favors verbal learners and tends to sideline visual thinkers, screening them out at school and overlooking them in the workplace. This book highlights the value of hiring neurodivergent employees and validates more necessity for accommodations in the workplace.

Don't forget to check out my website at healthierlifecoaching.com for a wealth of resources, blogs, and recommended readings on neurodiversity.

Warm regards,
